Mikhail Horobtsov

Mikhail Horobtsov has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product management and leadership.

Mikhail currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at YouControl.com.ua, a leading Compliance & AML tool in Ukraine. In this role, Mikhail has been recognized for their achievements, including being featured in the Forbes Ukraine Next250 list and receiving funding from Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund.

Mikhail also works as a Product Manager Mentor at Ментори в тилу, starting in 2022.

Prior to their current positions, Mikhail served as the Chief Product Officer at P2H from March 2020 to November 2021.

Mikhail had an extensive tenure at TemplateMonster.com, where they held various roles, including Chief Product Officer from August 2017 to March 2020, Head of Product & Product Manager from June 2015 to August 2017, and Tech Support & Customer Care Manager from June 2010 to June 2015.

Mikhail's earlier experience includes co-founding Itpapka Web Studio in May 2013. In this role, they were responsible for various aspects of the business, including marketing, project management, client and partner management, negotiations, budget management, and people management. Mikhail led the delivery of WordPress and eCommerce projects, focusing on platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, and OpenCart.

Mikhail Horobtsov's education history begins in 2007 when they attended Sukhomlynskyi Mykolaiv National University. Mikhail completed their Bachelor's degree in International Economics in 2010. Afterward, they pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in International Economics in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Mikhail has also earned certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In September 2018, they completed a course called "Managing the Company of the Future" on Coursera. Mikhail furthered their professional development by attending a training session titled "Strategic Session: What? Why? How to Do?" conducted by Strategic Ukraine. Mikhail obtained this certification in October 2020.
