Deeksha Verender

Deeksha Verender is a dedicated professional in the mental health field with extensive experience as a Mental Health Youth Worker at Young Devon since April 2023, along with volunteer counselling roles. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Exeter College and a Mental Health Support Worker at Lifeways Group. Deeksha has a background in volunteer work with PAPCP and an internship with the Department of Woman and Child Development. Academically, Deeksha holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Exeter, a Master of Arts in Creative Writing, and is currently pursuing a Diploma of Education in Integrative Counselling at Iron Mill College. Additionally, Deeksha earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Christ University in Bangalore.
