Matteo Melani

Matteo Melani is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering management and entrepreneurship. As a Senior Engineering Manager at Alchemy from June 2023 to December 2023, Matteo led teams on innovative projects. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Meta, where support was provided for the backend development of Instagram Digital Collectibles and integration of various blockchains. Matteo co-founded and served as CEO of Ellipsis Co., developing a Slack chatbot to enhance business workflows. Additionally, roles were held at Mighty Networks as Co-Founder and CTO, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Twitter. Leadership experience also includes serving as Developer Manager at Microsoft and contributing as Computer Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Matteo holds a BS and MS in Applied Physics from Università degli Studi di Ferrara.
