YSA empowers the next generation to become community ambassadors of science and technology. We help elementary to early-high school aged youth; those that would never have the opportunity to address scientific issues that are relevant to their communities. Our mission requires engaging students’ innate interest in the natural world, allowing them to explore and research science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. YSA uniquely uses science and technology as an avenue to break down social and economic barriers in order to create a bridge for youth to become future leaders in their communities.
