Young STEAMers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding equitable access to high-quality STEAM education for studnets ages 4-24 that come form from under - resourced and low-income communities in the SF Bay Area and beyond.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to explore their potential, regardless of background, resources or zip code.
Our core programs provide hands-on STEAM enrichment for students ages 4–14 through engaging, project-based learning delivered in after-school programs, libraries, community centers, and emergency shelters. Students don’t just learn science, they build, design, experiment, and create, making complex concepts fun, accessible, and meaningful while building confidence and curiosity.

For older students, our Career Compass program supports middle school, high school, and early college learners with career exploration, mentorship, skill-building, and pathways into STEAM fields. The program connects students to professionals, real-world experiences, leadership opportunities, and guidance as they plan their educational and career journeys.

Together, our programs create a continuous pipeline, from early curiosity to career readiness.

We serve students in low-income communities, multilingual learners, and first-generation college-bound youth, helping them see themselves as future scientists, engineers, educators, and innovators.
