Christopher Bayag

Christopher Bayag is a Research and Development Engineer at Younger Optics since July 2022, where significant contributions include developing mechanical and electromechanical systems that enhanced production processes and quality testing. Notable projects include the NuPolar Assembly Fixture, which improved layer uniformity by 56%, and the Polarization Meter, which reduced measurement variability by 85%. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Engineer at Beverage Factory, focusing on the development of the patented Hot Draft Tower, and various roles at UC San Diego, including being a Design Studio Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant in a bio-inspired robotics lab, and a Design Consultant for an exhibit at Birch Aquarium. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, earned in June 2020.
