Jon Schutz

Jon Schutz has worked in various roles since 1987. Jon began their career as an Engineer at DSTO in 1987, then moved on to Systems Engineering Manager at CAE MRad Pty Ltd in 1991. In 2000, they became the CTO of YourAmigo Pty Ltd, where they were responsible for establishing technology directions and conducting R&D activities. In 2015, they joined Peepable as an Advisory Board - Architecture Advisor. Since 2018, they have been the CTO of YourAnswer.io, where they are developing voice-to-understanding systems for voice-enabled shopping and finance. Jon'sresponsibilities include speech to text, text to speech, natural language understanding, image and text machine learning models, and high reliability production systems.

Jon Schutz attended the University of Adelaide from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a BE(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic. Jon then returned to the same university from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a MMaSc in Signal and Information Processing.
