Kat Dober is a seasoned professional in DevOps and software engineering with extensive experience in managing large-scale systems and infrastructure. Currently serving as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Counterpart since March 2025, Kat previously held a Lead Software Engineer role at New Relic, Inc., where significant achievements included a large-scale migration to Kubernetes and automation improvements that dramatically reduced operational times. Other roles at New Relic encompassed responsibilities in site reliability engineering and bare-metal hardware provisioning automation. Prior to that, Kat enhanced infrastructure at PENSCO Trust Company and contributed to the development of internal container platforms at Rackspace Technology.
