Dan Makin

Dan Makin has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dan is currently the Head of Engineering at Yourkeys/Zoopla, where they have been working since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at Yourkeys for four years from July 2017 to May 2021.

In 2017, Dan worked at Thumbtel as the Service Delivery & Operations Manager for a brief period from July to December. Before that, they were associated with ChannelAdvisor as a Product Manager and later as a Senior Engineering Manager in the Brand Solutions department from November 2014 to June 2017.

Dan also worked at E-Tale as the CTO / Delivery Director from July 2013 to November 2014. Prior to that, they held the role of CTO at HulloMail from May 2011 to June 2013 and Head of Operations at HulloMail from 2009 to 2011.

Before joining HulloMail, Dan worked at VoxSurf as the Head of Professional Services from April 2001 to September 2007. Dan also worked at Rubus as an Innovation Centre Technologist & eBusiness Consultant from April 1999 to April 2001 and at Airlines Transportation Products Associates as a Developer & Technical Lead from August 1996 to March 1999.

Dan Makin attended Loughborough University from 1992 to 1996. During their time at Loughborough University, they obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Computer Science.
