Annual spend on AI cloud services now exceeds $100B, with most infrastructure optimised for massive, general-purpose models. But the market is shifting. NVIDIA and others now highlight the rapid rise of smaller, task-specific AI models that deliver better performance, lower cost, and greater energy efficiency. Within two years, the usage of these smaller models is forecast to be three times higher than that of large language models (LLMs).

This shift opens the door for a new class of AI infrastructure — designed specifically for smaller, more efficient AI workloads rather than adapted from datacentre-scale systems.

Youron is building that next-generation cloud — a distributed environment combining decentralised orchestration, high-performance GPUs, and intelligent workload distribution to deliver more efficient, more affordable, and more sustainable compute than today’s datacentre infrastructure.

We are currently running distributed tests and will open the platform to early adopters by the end of 2025, ahead of a commercial launch in H2 2026.
