Megan Mitchell AM

Megan Mitchell is currently a Board Member of the CEO fund for early childhood education and care within the NSW Government and serves as the Chief Executive Officer for International Social Service Australia. With extensive past leadership roles, including Executive Director positions in both the NSW and ACT Governments and a tenure as Human Rights Commissioner for Children at the Australian Human Rights Commission, they have championed human rights and social change. They hold a Master of Arts in social policy from the University of York and are pursuing doctoral studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science, among other qualifications. Megan's expertise spans family support, child protection, juvenile justice, aged care, and disability, underpinned by a commitment to evidence-driven agendas.
