yourtown is a charity that provides services young people can access to find jobs, learn skills, become great parents and live safe, happy lives.

Since 1961, we’ve been tackling the issues impacting young people in Australia – like youth unemployment and mental health, and we take on issues like domestic and family violence. Each month, thousands of young people connect with us to access the services we provide at both community and national levels.

We deliver services that get results. They include Kids Helpline, training and employment services for young people, parent education and specialist accommodation for families. 

Our team is a specialist mix of counsellors, social workers, researchers and qualified support personnel.

Research shapes our services. By taking the time to listen and understand their priorities, we’re committed to filling the gap in contemporary research about Australian children and young people.

The Operations and Program Management team at yourtown is dedicated to ensuring the seamless delivery and continuous improvement of services that support young people and their families. This team coordinates procurement, manages performance and capabilities, oversees numerous projects, ensures compliance, and drives corporate and community impact. They also focus on service design, virtual services operations, and fundraising activities, all underpinned by rigorous data analysis, reporting, and evaluation to maximize the effectiveness and reach of yourtown's programs.
