Dea Gentner

Dea Gentner has over 15 years of experience in IT Project Management and Business Architecture. In 2018, they began working with Neos Consulting Group as a Sr. IT Project Manager, where they were responsible for working directly with agency leadership to ensure that policy, procedures and directives were in-line with the mission goals of the agency and/or federal/state legislation, as well as managing the strategic planning of federal/state mandated projects. From 2012-2018, Dea worked at Loblolly Consulting as a Sr. IT Project Manager, where they led DFPS Adult Protective Services in their technical expansion, managed the analysis and testing of the eTravel application for DFPS, and was responsible for the analysis of The Employee Misconduct Registry business processes. From 2011-2012, Dea worked at AMD as a Sr. IT Project Manager/Sr. Business Architect, where they were responsible for understanding business needs to analyze performance and user behavior on AMD's web sites, directed and trained cross-functional teams of 20-100, and managed incoming work requests. From 2010-2011, Dea worked at The Persimmon Group as a Sr. IT Project Manager, where they led and mentored TWC staff on the value and implementation of goal-based metrics and use cases in functional analysis and project planning. From 2009-2010, Dea worked at AMD as a Sr. Project Manager/Sr. Business Architect, where they assisted in the management of the corporate application portfolio, managed the identification and analysis of business requirements tied to portfolio project efforts, and initiated and managed meetings for both managers and executives. Finally, from 2004-2009, Dea worked at ARC Systems as the Director of Business Development, where they interfaced with the client's executive team to define project requirements, coordinated with stakeholders to determine user/business/functional requirements, and created vision, scope, and use case documents.
