Richard Carter

Richard Carter has over 25 years of experience in the IT consulting and staffing industry. Richard began their career in 1993 as a Sales Tax Auditor at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. In 1995, they took on the role of Auditor at the Texas State Auditor's Office, where they analyzed business processes for improvements in efficiency and economy, developed and reported recommendations for agency improvements, and developed and implemented audit programs. In 1997, they co-founded and became Partner of Dynamic Professional Services, an IT Consulting firm specializing in PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS for public sector organizations. In 1999, the firm was sold to EpicEdge, Inc., where they took on the role of VP of ERP. In 2001, they were promoted to CEO of EpicEdge, Inc. to lead the turnaround of the company. In 2003, they founded Neos Consulting Group, an Austin Tx based IT consulting and staffing firm specializing in Texas state and local governments, higher education verticals and Texas private sector clients.

Richard Carter obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting from Texas State University between 1987 and 1992. In March 1994, they obtained a Certified Public Account certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
