Amanda Johnson

Amanda Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and industries. Amanda is currently working as a Product Manager at YouScience, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, Amanda worked as a Student Mentor at Carnegie Mellon University, starting in January 2021.

A significant portion of their career was spent at WGU Labs, where they held various positions. Amanda started as a Learning Experience Designer in October 2017 and was later promoted to Senior Learning Experience Designer in October 2018. From September 2019 to February 2021, they served as a Design Manager, leading the design team at the non-profit innovation lab. Amanda's final role at WGU Labs was as a Senior Design Manager, which they held from February 2021 until their employment at YouScience.

Before joining WGU Labs, Amanda worked at the University of Virginia as a Project Coordinator. Their responsibilities included creating work plans, managing project staff, and overseeing data collection for research projects. Amanda also provided iPad training for research staff during their tenure. Prior to this, they worked as an Education Policy Research Assistant at the University of Virginia.
