Jon Farley

Jon Farley is an experienced embedded software designer currently working at YouSolar, Inc. since September 2020, focusing on the design and implementation of real-time embedded control firmware for the PowerBloc solar micro-grid system. As the owner of Sixteenth Avenue Systems, LLC, a consultancy established in March 2002, Jon specializes in embedded software for commercial products within the entertainment, scientific, and veterinary sectors. Jon's extensive background includes roles such as Director of Engineering and Sr. Design Engineer at Rosco Entertainment Technology and Entertainment Technology, Inc. Additionally, Jon has experience as a Software Developer at Performing Arts Technology and a Stage Electrician/Lighting Operator at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Jon holds an MFA in Technical Design and Production from the Yale School of Drama and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Eastern Washington University.
