Eric Sysak

Eric Sysak is currently the Director of IT at YouthCare. Prior to their current position, they were the Manager of eIT Field Services at Expedia Group from November 2015 to March 2021. In their previous role, they managed Expedia's level 2 support team for their Bellevue and Seattle headquarters as well as their offices in San Francisco and Chicago. Eric was also responsible for leading the buildout and migration of Seattle HQ from Bellevue, which spanned over 18 months and successfully moved 4,000 staff members.

During their time at Expedia Group, Eric was also a key member of their COVID crisis response team, ensuring health, safety, and business continuity during the pandemic. Eric was also a major supporter and enabler of internal promotions and staff development, converting 11 Year Up interns to contingent or FTE employees, and promoting 12 staff members over 5 years. In addition, they were a key member of their network access control (NAC) testing, deployment, and upgrade team, developing standards and documentation in preparation for worldwide rollout.

Under Eric's leadership, the eIT Field Services team was able to successfully manage Expedia Group's IT needs during 3 office expansions and 4 contractions. Major migrations that were completed during their tenure include Win10, O365, OneDrive, Slack, Dropbox, and Crashplan.

Eric Sysak has a BS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University.
