Craig Lang is a mechanical engineer with extensive offshore and marine project experience, including the development of multi-purpose semi-submersibles, steel catenary risers, and motion-compensated deck machinery for survey vessels and deep-sea operations. They have led Seaways Engineering as CEO since 2008 and currently serve as President/CEO of Seaways Engineering International Inc and as an Offshore Engineering Consultant with Seaways Engineering. Lang earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (External Degree) from the University of London (1957–1963). Their work on the MPSS concept and related technologies began in the 1980s and included the design and validation of ring pontoons and steel catenary risers for major oil companies.
