Daryl Chang

Daryl Chang is a software engineer at YouTube since October 2020, with previous experience at Facebook from September 2016 to March 2020, where significant contributions included developing retrieval and ranking systems for dynamic ads and optimizing deep learning models. Prior to Facebook, Daryl worked as a data scientist at Upstart Network and interned in various engineering roles at Facebook and Google. Personal projects involved running deep learning experiments, with a publication in Towards Data Science garnering over 20 million monthly views. Daryl holds both a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree with Distinction in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a high school diploma from Saratoga High School.
