Dean Schaffer

Dean Schaffer is a Senior Product Manager at YouTube, where they are currently developing engaging digital experiences for large user communities. They previously worked at Smule, where they led a cross-functional team to enhance user participation through music and developed tools for user-generated content. Dean also held roles at YouTube as a Product Manager and at DemiDec as Head of Product Development, alongside serving as Head Copy Editor for The Stanford Daily Newspaper. They are pursuing a Master's degree in Communication with a focus on Journalism while holding a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Stanford University.
