Jegan Chen

Jegan Chen has a substantial work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jegan is currently serving as the UX Lead at YouTube since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a UX Lead from July 2019 to April 2022. From November 2016 to July 2019, Jegan was the Lead UX Designer, Amazon Game Tech at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Jegan also held multiple positions at Blizzard Entertainment, including Product Design Manager from November 2014 to November 2016, Director from March 2014 to November 2014, UX Manager from March 2013 to March 2014, and Senior User Experience Designer from November 2011 to March 2013. Additionally, they have experience at BOL Agency, where they worked as a Senior UX Strategist from January 2010 to November 2011, UX Designer from June 2006 to January 2010, and UX Engineer from June 2005 to June 2006. Jegan's early work experience includes roles as an Instructional Assistant and Webmaster at the University of California San Diego from March 2005 to June 2005 and May 2004 to June 2005, respectively.

Jegan Chen holds a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience from UC San Diego. They also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2012.
