Marcel Thee

Marcel Thee is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in content creation and management. As the Founder and Managing Director of The Good Word since 2002, Marcel has served high-profile clients including Google and Ritz Carlton. In January 2022, Marcel established Monograph, a multimedia platform dedicated to telling lesser-known Indonesian stories, backed by grants from YouTube/Google. Recognized for talent, Marcel received the YouTube 'Independent Journalist' grant in 2021, being one of two Indonesian journalists to do so. Marcel's roles at VICE Media and The Jakarta Post, where Marcel worked as Managing Editor and created innovative documentary series, further showcase leadership in content development. Additionally, contributions have been made to numerous publications including NME and Nikkei Asian Review. Marcel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the London School of Public Relations.
