Matthew Vree

Matthew Vree is the Americas Lead for YouTube Culture & Trends, a position they have held since 2017. With a background in multimedia and digital media production, Vree previously served as an Executive Producer at Vox.com and as Director of Programming for PBS Digital Studios, where they co-founded and developed web original video content. Their experience also includes roles as an Interactive Producer for FRONTLINE PBS and Senior Producer for the Public Broadcasting Service. Vree is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, while also holding a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Michigan.
