Phil Harnish

Phil Harnish is a Senior Staff UX Engineer at YouTube, where they focus on building rich, interactive web applications. They have extensive experience in frontend engineering, having previously worked as a Lead Web Developer at No-Tec Inc. and a Web Developer for multiple organizations, including Amazon.com and SG Systems. Phil began their career as a freelance Web Developer from 2000 to 2008. They earned an Honors degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, where they also studied Math, Japanese, and Asian Studies.
