Randall Cook

Randall Cook is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the media technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at YouTube since June 2015, Cook focuses on video processing within the video infrastructure team. Prior to YouTube, Cook held several significant roles at ConnecTV, including Chief Architect and VP Engineering, where leadership included managing software development teams and overseeing the development of key technologies. Cook's earlier career features a tenure at Gracenote Inc., where contributions included the development of audio and video content identification technologies, and a role as a Software Engineer at ABT Corp. and a co-founder of Wildcat Canyon Software, specializing in music transcription products. Cook holds a BA in Math/Computer Science from Wesleyan University.
