Riva Sciuto

Riva Sciuto currently serves as the Head of Global Civics Partnerships at YouTube since July 2025. Previously, Riva held several positions in the U.S. House of Representatives from December 2012 to December 2014, including Deputy Communications Director & Press Secretary for the House Republican Conference and Communications Director for the same conference, as well as Press Secretary for Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Riva's experience also includes roles as a Research Assistant at the American Enterprise Institute and an intern at the Office of Presidential Speechwriting in The White House. Riva worked at Google from March 2023 to July 2025, taking on positions such as Head of Communications for the Gemini App and Google Assistant, as well as Senior Manager for Policy Communications. Riva holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008.
