Simi Opayemi

Simi Opayemi has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Mediator at the Center for Conflict Resolution in 2014. Simi then moved to the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian in 2013 as a 711 Law Clerk. In 2012, they were a Student Attorney at Northwestern Law Bluhm Legal Clinic. From 2015 to 2017, Simi worked as a Law Clerk to an Honourable Justice at the Lagos State Judiciary and as a Law Extern at Chief Rotimi Williams' Chambers (FRA Law). In 2018, they were an Associate at George Etomi & Partners and a Pupil Counsel at Chief Rotimi Williams' Chambers (FRA Law). In 2020, Simi took on two roles at Youverify Inc., serving as the Company Secretary and Data Protection Manager and Chief Of Staff.

Simi Opayemi has completed their education history with a High School Diploma from Olashore International School in 2006, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminology Prelaw from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2010, a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2014, and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School in 2023. Simi is also certified to practice in Nigeria and the State of New York.
