Dan Luk has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dan started their career as a Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they worked with legacy Fortran code to compute heat flux and pressure gradients across blades using computational fluid dynamics. Dan then joined Reliant Mission as a Field Staff member and eventually became a Pastor, where they built donor relationships and developed an interactive database to maximize employee engagement. Dan then transitioned to Technology Service Corporation, working as a Software Engineer for the Department of Defense. In this role, they provided software engineering expertise in areas such as High Voltage Detonators and Battery systems, programming in LabVIEW and conducting quality assurance testing. Currently, they are a Web Developer at YouVersion.
Dan Luk has a diverse education history. Dan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2002 and 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in the same field from The Ohio State University, completing it from 2006 to 2008. Later on, Dan Luk pursued a Master's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School from 2014 to 2017.
In addition to their degrees, Dan Luk also obtained certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In March 2023, they became Triplebyte Certified from the institution Triplebyte. Dan also completed the Full-Stack Engineer Career Path certification from Codecademy in February 2023.
