Jay Selle

Jay Selle's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at YouVersion, where they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SpaceX from September 2019 to July 2023.

Before joining SpaceX, Jay held various roles at Bank of Oklahoma. From January 2016 to September 2019, they served as VP, Software Engineering, Digital Banking, responsible for building the bank's digital banking solution across multiple sectors. Jay developed front-end components for iOS, Android, and responsive web using Blazer and backend systems in Java and C#.

From June 2010 to January 2016, Jay worked as VP, Enterprise Architect at Bank of Oklahoma. In this role, they designed and coordinated internal software development, reviewed software performance, troubleshooted issues, and worked with IT vendors to ensure best practices.

Previously, from September 2006 to June 2010, Jay worked as a Software Developer III at Bank of Oklahoma, developing software across various banking sectors and integrating disparate systems seamlessly.

Jay's earlier work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at MCJUNKIN RED MAN CORP, where they were responsible for designing, developing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining barcode inventory management software connected to HP barcode scanners using wifi or 900 MHz. Jay held this position from 2004 to 2006.

Jay Selle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa between the years 1999 and 2004. In addition, they obtained the CISSP certification from the National Security Agency in May 2004.
