Jonathan Olson

Jonathan Olson started their work experience in 2010 as a Case Manager/Program Lead at BACR, where they managed and developed treatment plans for clients, developed a behavioral reward system, coordinated school-wide events, and worked with students in education settings. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a House Manager at Santa Clara County Open Arms Group Homes. In 2012, they served as a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo and as an Academic Computing Resource Center Lab Tutor at City College of San Francisco.

In 2013, Jonathan became a Graduate Teaching Associate/Instructor at San Francisco State University until 2015. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Data Scientist Associate at Import.io. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer 2 at StubHub.

In 2017, Jonathan joined HomeSpotter as a Full Stack Engineer and worked there until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Nerdery as a Software Engineer (Python). Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at YouVersion, starting in March 2021.

Jonathan Olson completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Gustavus Adolphus College between 2004 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained several certifications related to machine learning, data engineering, and cloud platforms. Some of these certifications include "Launching into Machine Learning" and "Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera, as well as the "AWS Technical Professional" certification from Amazon Web Services. Jonathan also holds the "Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer" certification.
