Edwin Prado

Edwin Prado serves as the Alliances Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean at YPARD since September 2022, contributing to the empowerment of young agricultural leaders. Currently employed at the Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para a Agricultura (IICA) as a Technical Cooperation Project Manager since November 2020, Edwin has played a key role in strengthening IICA's technical and institutional capabilities in Brazil and has coordinated national efforts to adapt family farming to climate change. Previous experience includes project management at Empresa Junior de Engenharia Agronomica - COPLAG, involvement in the CNA Jovem program aimed at fostering youth leadership in agriculture, and various internships focused on horticulture and agribusiness management. Edwin holds an MBA in Agribusiness from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" and a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Sergipe, along with a specialization in Project Management from IICA.
