Javier Simon

Javier Simon has extensive experience in IT auditing and system administration, currently serving as Jefe de Auditoría interna IT at YPF SA since July 2006, where responsibilities include risk identification and management, as well as overseeing special projects in information security and compliance. Prior roles at YPF SA include Auditor Interno de IT, where Javier was responsible for IT audit processes, and Coordinador de Implementación y Despliegues, overseeing system migrations. Earlier experiences include positions at Grupo CLS as Administrador de sistemas for Shell, providing system support, and at Repsol Ypf S A as soporte interno de sistemas at service stations. Javier began a career in technology at Telefónica as a Help Desk & Internet Technician. Educational credentials include a Bachillerato from Colegio del Libertador and ongoing studies toward a degree as an Analista de Sistemas at Universidad Abierta Interamericana.
