Gil Karsten

Gil Karsten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and investment. Currently a member of YPO since 2023, Gil served as a Partner and Director of Private Equity at Pátria Investimentos from 2007 to 2025. Additionally, Gil held the position of Chairman of the Board at Karsten S.A. from 2014 to 2025 and was involved in marketing at the same company from 2004 to 2007. Earlier in the career, Gil worked in Mergers and Acquisitions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 1996 to 2003. Educational credentials include completing the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2024, earning an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 2005 and 2007, and obtaining a degree in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 1992 to 1995.
