Matthew Mugo Fields is an accomplished leader in the education sector with extensive experience in management and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as President of the Integrated Platform Business Unit at HMH since November 2017, Matthew has previously held significant roles including General Manager at YPO and President at Heinemann Publishing. Matthew founded and served as CEO for Redbird Advanced Learning and GiftedandTalented.com, both utilizing Stanford-developed solutions to enhance educational outcomes. As Co-Founder and President of Rocket Group, Matthew leveraged research and technology to deliver innovative Pre-K-12 learning solutions. Matthew's career also includes leadership positions at Platform Learning, BEST Education Partners, and a consulting role at Deloitte. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School, an Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA from Morehouse College.
