Michael Brooks is the Founder and CEO of goLance, established in 2014 and launched in 2015 with a mission to enhance the virtual workplace for online remote workers and their clients. Brooks is also an author of three books, including "REMOTE iT!: Winning with Freelancers," which focuses on managing a thriving business in a virtual environment. In addition, Brooks serves as an investor with goLance Dev Ventures at Unifyd since June 2024 and is a member of YPO, the premier global leadership organization for chief executives, since July 2023. Brooks also holds the position of Regional Counsel for North America and LATAM at Ripple, a leading enterprise blockchain company since June 2020, and is the founder of Response CRM, an ecommerce solution provider, since November 2012. Brooks graduated from California State University, Chico in 2001.
