Sam Charney is the Founder and Principal of Charney Companies LLC, overseeing multifamily property development, management, and ownership in Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bay Area since October 2013. In addition, Sam serves as an Executive Board Member at the Queens Museum, an Advisory Board Member at the Brooklyn Museum, and a Committee Member at the Brooklyn Public Library. As an Operating Board Founding Member of Pursuit, Sam contributes to training adults for tech careers. Sam is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Thornton-Donovan School and YPO, and previously co-founded the DUMBO Improvement District. Sam's educational background includes a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from New York University and a BA in Art History/Finance from Bates College.
