Tom Gearing is the CEO and Co-founder of Cult Wines Ltd, leading the company since September 2009 in its mission to simplify wine investment through technology and expertise. Under Tom's leadership, Cult Wines has evolved from a startup to a leader in the £5bn fine wine investment market, also overseeing the development of CultX, a next-generation fine wine marketplace launched in June 2023. Additionally, Tom is a member of the YPO London Chapter and gained recognition as the Runner-up on Season 8 of The Apprentice in 2011. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nottingham, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
