James Shaw is a transactional Partner in the London office of YPOG, one of Europe’s leading tech-native VC/PE law firms. They specialize in venture and growth capital, emerging companies, M&A, and private equity, serving as an adviser to founders and management teams navigating growth and corporate governance challenges. Prior to YPOG, Shaw co-founded the tech law boutique JAG Shaw Baker and contributed to Withers tech as a Partner. They have a particular interest in science-based innovation emerging from academic institutions, focusing on the marine, blue, and circular economy sectors.
