Simon Adebola

Simon Adebola is an advisor at YPoint Analytics. Simon has also worked as an engineer lead at Anthem, Inc. from August 2017 to August 2021. There, they provided direction and developed solutions for payer-side population health activities using clinical data analytics, claims data, business rules, and their experience in both clinical medicine and public health. Simon also effectively coordinated program execution with IT, Business, Quality and Clinical stakeholders.

Adebola has a wealth of experience in managing large enterprise data integration, transformation, and upgrades. Simon has also designed and implemented the integration with some of the largest US health information exchanges (New York, Ohio, California, etc.). These distinct and complex integrations require working with legal, business, technology, and clinical stakeholders across healthcare, population health, and insurance domains.

In addition, Adebola has led multiple initiatives to advance data quality, innovate on data transformation using new tools, and architect IT infrastructure for growth and meeting business needs. Simon has also developed and managed a clinical data analytics portfolio running on Cloudera Hadoop, Spark, Informatica, Alteryx, PowerBI and Tableau.

Most notably, Adebola designed and built new applications for bidirectional health data exchange. Simon Adebola's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from The University of Georgia. Simon also has an M.Sc. in Space Studies from the International Space University and an M.B.Ch.B. from Obafemi Awolowo University. Additionally, Simon is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by Amazon Web Services as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
