Sam Hurwitz

Sam Hurwitz is a co-founder and co-president of Vassar Not Alone, a student organization at Vassar College focused on promoting mental health awareness and support on campus, addressing feelings of invisibility and isolation among students. Additionally, Sam serves as co-president of the Vassar Student Musicians Union, where responsibilities include public relations and organizing events. As chapter co-president and instructor at The Youth Passion Project, Sam contributes to providing free online courses to younger students. Other experiences include roles as a HelpLine Specialist at NAMI, a teaching artist at SAY, and a videographer at the Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy. Sam is pursuing a degree at Vassar College, with plans to study music therapy during a summer intensive at New York University and participate in a study abroad program in Denmark.
