Joe Booth

Joe Booth has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Joe started their career as a Consultant at Integra, where they led the development of an in-house application for tracking mental health services. Joe then moved on to work as a Consultant at Thomas Jefferson University, where they wrote a labor distribution system. After that, they joined Dollar Financial Group as a Consultant, leading a project to create a rules-based system for loan evaluation. Joe also worked on database design and report creation.

Following this, Joe joined Harris & Associates as a Consultant, where they were involved in database and web development for corporate clients. Joe was responsible for data collection, query optimization, and data export/reporting.

Joe then worked at PeopleMetrics as a Senior Software Analyst, where they worked on an existing Market Research application. Joe developed various modules, including single sign-on and true XLS file upload/download.

Next, they joined MSCI Inc. as a Web Developer, where they supported a financial reporting application for pension and fund managers. Their primary role was designing and enhancing graphs and tables using VB.

Joe also worked as an Author at Syncfusion and authored books during their time there.

Joe then joined Philadelphia Energy Solutions, LLC as a Senior Developer, where they developed systems and provided support for 20 years worth of software. Joe enjoyed working with a great manager and a group of colleagues.

Joe later worked at FreedomPay as a Software Engineer, where they developed web applications for credit card merchants. While they enjoyed the work and the people, the commuting into Philadelphia became too much for him.

Currently, Joe is working as a Senior Software Engineer at YPrime.

Joe Booth attended Rider College from 1976 to 1981, where they obtained a BS in Accounting/Computer Science. During the same period, they also attended Rider University, where they earned a BS in Accounting, Computer Science. In 2016, Joe obtained a Scrum Master certification, but the institution where they obtained this certification is not specified.
