YSAT is a refugee youth-led nonprofit organization whose mandate is supporting conflict affected youth by tackling access barriers to quality education, sustainable livelihoods and addressing root causes of violent conflicts in Uganda, South Sudan

YSAT envisions a self reliant and peaceful community for people in displaced settings by 2030

YSAT work with refugees, internally displaced people, returnees and vulnerable host communities to enhance community based protection, promote sustainable livelihoods, agriculture and skills development, provide access to education in emergency programs, advance evidence-based research and advocacy for displaced communities.

In Uganda, we work in Adjumani, Rhino Camp, Imvepi, Palorinya, Lamwo and Kiryandongo Refugee settlements
In South Sudan, we work in Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Central Equatoria and Greater Pibor Admin Area
