Ytsab Defence AB – Innovation for Civil Applications
Ytsab Defence AB is part of the Ytsab Group, focusing on advanced technology and innovative solutions for next-generation energy-based systems. Our team brings together diverse expertise in engineering, physics, and industrial design, with years of experience in high-tech product development.
We are currently pioneering an innovation in electromagnetic propulsion technology and exploring its potential applications in civil sectors. Electromagnetic drivers have traditionally been associated with research in high-energy systems, but we are adapting this technology for safe, efficient, and sustainable use in areas such as:

Industrial material processing
Emergency response tools
Specialized construction equipment
Scientific and educational platforms

Thanks to thousands of hours of research and development, we have achieved highly promising results in electromagnetic propulsion. Our designs break away from conventional concepts like railguns or coilguns. Instead, we use a novel approach that converts electrical energy into controlled bursts of motion with exceptional efficiency—up to seven times higher than reported benchmarks for similar systems.
Our team has compiled over 38,000 pages of research and experimental data, covering every aspect of design, performance, and safety. This foundation enables us to deliver solutions that combine innovation, reliability, and environmental responsibility.
