Ed Chang

Ed Chang has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles in the technology industry. Ed is currently the VP of Engineering at Yubico, where they play a crucial role in providing secure authentication solutions for organizations. Prior to this, they worked at Utimaco as the VP of Engineering and Transformation Leader, overseeing global R&D teams and driving innovations in cybersecurity solutions. Ed also held the position of Director of Engineering at Utimaco, where they directed global teams and led the development of key management and hardware security module solutions. Previous to Utimaco, Ed was the Senior Director of Object Storage at HGST, where they led R&D for the ActiveScale object storage product and implemented Agile development methodologies. Ed also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Director of Hybrid Cloud Management, where they led R&D efforts for various software products and drove architectural and design decisions. Throughout their career, Ed has demonstrated expertise in areas such as cybersecurity, key management, cloud management, and virtualization.

Ed Chang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Foundations and PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in February 2021.
