Jonas Markström

Jonas Markström has a diverse work history with extensive experience in sales engineering and technical roles. Jonas is currently employed at Yubico as a Senior Solutions Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Thales eSecurity as a Sales Engineer, where they specialized in identity and access management solutions. Before Thales, they worked at Gemalto as a Sales Engineer, focusing on enterprise and cybersecurity solutions. Jonas also worked at Axiomatics, Appear Networks, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd, Pointsec Mobile Technologies, and Protect Data AB, where they held various technical and sales engineering positions, gaining expertise in areas such as mobile security, endpoint security, cryptography, and access control.

Jonas Markström began their education at Kärrtorps gymnasium from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued Mass communications with a major in advertisement. In 2001 to 2002, they attended Jensen Education and obtained a KY certification in UNIX & Windows Systems Administration. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they enrolled at the Institute of International Studies Ramkhamhaeng University and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business.

In addition to their formal education, Markström has acquired various certifications. In September 2002, they obtained their CCNA certification from Cisco. In February 2003, they became a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. Later, in July 2012, they obtained the CAPM certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter.

In 2017, Markström acquired two certifications. In July, they earned their CISSP certification from (ISC)2, and in October, they became a Luna SA Certified Engineer (Luna 6) accredited by Gemalto. The following year, in September 2017, they obtained a PKI Certified Engineer certification from Gemalto.

In 2018, Markström added four more certifications to their profile. In January, they achieved the SAS PCE Advanced Certification from Gemalto, while in May, they earned both the Luna SA Certified Engineer (Luna 7) and SAS Cloud Certified Engineer certifications, also from Gemalto. Additionally, they obtained their Security+ certification from CompTIA in August of the same year.

Most recently, Markström achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification in March 2021, accredited by Microsoft.
