Andy Pickerell

Andy Pickerell is an experienced operations professional in the brewing industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. since December 2019, overseeing brewery operations. Prior to this role, Andy held various significant positions including Plant Manager at Yuengling Brewing Company of Tampa from April 2011 to December 2019, and Director of Process Operations at MillerCoors from August 2005 to April 2011, where leadership was provided to the Brewing, Utilities, and Waste Treatment Departments at the Shenandoah Brewery. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Brewing, Quality, and EH&S at MolsonCoors, Executive Director of Manufacturing at Amalgamated Beverage Industries, Technical Director at Adcock Ingram Critical Care, and Quality Assurance Manager at South African Breweries, contributing to quality assurance and manufacturing processes throughout these roles. Andy's academic background includes a Master of Science in Fermentation Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Biology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
