Jong Cheol Lee has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, most notably serving as Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics from March 2014 to December 2021, and as Executive Vice President of Compliance from January 2022 to February 2024. Prior to Samsung, Jong Cheol Lee held positions such as Chief Prosecutor at the Miryang Branch of Changwon District Public Prosecutors' Office and counselor for legal affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, focusing on extradition and MLAT. Jong Cheol Lee was also a public prosecutor at the Ministry of Justice from 1998 to 2011.
