Joe Knowles

Joe Knowles has a vast and diverse work experience. Joe is currently working at Smedvig Capital, where they hold the position of a Partner since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Principal from February 2019 to February 2022, leading series A/B rounds and investing in fast-growing businesses. Joe also worked as a Senior Associate from May 2017 to February 2020 and as an Associate from September 2015 to May 2017 at Smedvig Capital.

Apart from Smedvig Capital, Joe is involved in various other professional roles. Joe is a Board Member at Lunio since August 2022. Joe also serves as an Angel Investor at Ai Build, Kuai Commerce, Engineius, and YardLink, starting from different dates in 2022 and 2023.

Furthermore, Joe served as a Director at Yumpingo from February 2020 onwards, where they led the \u00a36m Series A investment and contributed to enhancing the guest experience through data collection. Joe also worked as a Director at Spirable from September 2019, leading a \u00a36m Series A investment and subsequently overseeing its successful exit to Genius Sports in 2021.

Joe Knowles attended the University of Bristol from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering.
