YWCA Rwanda is a national women-led organization committed to empowering girls and women through education, livelihoods, health, and prevention and response to violence against women and girls. Established in February 1995 and legally recognized by the Government of Rwanda in September 2005, YWCA is dedicated to community transformation through the holistic empowerment of women and girls in Rwanda.
With vision for a world where all women live free from poverty and where their rights are respected, YWCA works to to develop the leadership and collective power of women and girls to achieve high-quality education, health, and socio-economic conditions in Rwanda.
