Bijan Tadayon

Bijan Tadayon has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Bijan began their career in 1990 as an electronics/semiconductor researcher at the US Naval Research Lab. In 1995, they were a primary patent examiner and patent examiner trainer at the US Patent & Trademark Office. That same year, they also co-founded and became VP of Marketing/Sales at EZ Solution Software Corp. In 2000, they joined ContentGuard, Inc. as Director of Intellectual Properties (IPs/patents) & DRM/encryption inventor. Bijan was a prolific inventor and was involved in digital rights management (DRM), encryption, security, and XrML. In 2006, they became a consultant offering IP/patent consulting (IP advisor), IP/patent landscape search, patent filing/prosecution, patent/IP/company valuation, valuation analysis/expert for/supporting investors/VCs/companies, IP portfolio expansion, IP analysis, and prior art search (e.g., for patent invalidation). Bijan was also a technical & IP advisor for multiple startup/hi-tech companies, helping them to achieve success. In 2011, they co-founded NIPSIA.org, and in 2013 they became the CEO of Z Advanced Computing, Inc. (ZAC).

Bijan Tadayon received a PhD in EE (Electrical Engineering/Electronics) from Cornell University in 1989, a BS in Applied & Engineering Physics from Cornell University in 1986, and a JD in Law from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.
